DEWALT DW758 Review: DEWALT DW758 8-Inch Bench Grinder. Having recently purchased the DeWalt DW758 bench grinder for use in my shop, I can say that it is definitely a good value. The ¾ HP capacitor-start motor comes up to speed quickly, runs smoothly with steady speed and ample power for most any grinding need. Overall, it is a very good heavy-duty general-use grinder. The stamped steel wheel guards are not as sturdy or easy to remove as the cast iron guards on other manufactures more expensive models.
