Milwaukee 48-28-4016 Review: Milwaukee 48-28-4016 24-Inch Hex Shank Extensions for Selfeed Bits, Auger Bits and Hole Saws Over 1. This is a very serious extension shaft, nicely finished. HD offers a similar item which has a smaller diameter and does not appear as nicely finished nor does it have a lock groove. I dropped the 6mm lock screw and will find one with a 1/8" hex cup, mating with the included hex wrench. I ran wires through a tight series of joists for which these extensions were useful.
